This is the first night my daughter got her trike. It really is well made, and pieced together easily. You can see in the video...I had a very hard time capping the neck bolt, you can see the cover is not flush, because the neck bolt assembly seems bigger than the cap. I recommend a vice grip to assemble the neck, I didn't try it but I don't think a ratchet would fit. It must be very tight or else the wheel will go out of alignment and I had to turn the bolt as tight as I could to make sure. The bell is also very hard to push, you can see that she can still make it ring by touching it. I put her whole hand on the bell switch and she still couldn't do it. She likes the sounds and she will eventually be able to press it. The trike has been great. She ate breakfast on it the next day.Another reason I posted this video is because I had a hard time finding the right bike for her height, and was worried she would not reach the pedals. I couldn't find any information on what height might fit this trike. My daughter is exactly 35 inches here, and 2 years old. With the seat on the lowest position, she can push the pedal forward, but not all the way around so she is still a few inches shy but I expected this. She will be able to push it shortly and I pleased at how well built it is and wifey loves it because it is cute. In the meanwhile, I tied a rope around the neck and tugged her around and she loved it.Nice product and very pleased.

At first I was worried about the size of this item because my daughter is a taller 3 year old than I guess you can say normal sized child.

But I took the chance and ordered it for Christmas for her.

Turns out it was a perfect size with room to last another two years for her, the seat is adjustable and there is more than enough space to wear her knees won't hit the handle bars.

Now, many people complained about how strong the smell is of this trike, and yes it has a very powerful smell of factory rubber, I have a very large living room and it smelled the entire room with that smell.

The bike was very easy to put together but that was because I had the right tools, so if you don't have the right tools it will not be as easy to put together. The one thing that needs to be tightened correctly is the seat, because if not tightened correctly it will slip and fall to the first setting and can possibly hurt the child.

Now, the bike has a very annoying squeak that will drive anyone nuts, the squeak was coming from the back wheels so spray some WD40 on those wheels unless you find tranquility in the sounds of angry hamsters on their wheels.

Next, the bell that comes with the bike is beautiful and the children will love and the parents will hate it, the bolts that come with the bell strip very easily and the bike does not come with extra bolts.

With the bell that came with my daughters bike, it was unavoidable to strip the bolts because the bell wouldn't stay still and each time my daughter rung the bell it slipped upside down.

Another review stated that the box is a generic brown box, this is true but the box is packed safely. The box didn't matter to me as I set the bike up Christmas Eve for my daughter to be surprised Christmas Day.

The bike is amazing and very easy to maneuver.

This is a great buy indeed, worth every penny.

I purchased this tricycle for my daughters 3rd birthday. Her father had originally purchased a small bike with training wheels of which she could never pedal and would often loose her balance on. So I bought this tricycle with the hope that she would have a better chance of learning how to pedal with a lower level 'bike'. I was not disappointed! The tricycle is very sturdy it does not wobble like her other bike, it has an adjustable seat which we lowered to the very bottom, and the it has a little bell. My daughter was able to ride around on it immediately and we were even able to walk around the neighbor that same day. You can tell that this tricycle will last a long time, I remember having one of these as a kid as well. I'm glad my daughter can share that same great experience!

** I also purchased a little basket for the bike so that my daughter could place her baby doll in.

Pros:
Lovely light pink color
Well made and sturdy
Bell works fine
It has an adjustable seat

Cons:
Your child will not want to get off of it :)

I bought this as a birthday present for my niece who is turning two, but is somewhat large for her age. She still will need a couple of months to be able to fully pedal the wheels, but she already is fascinated by and loves her "bike." I also purchased a cute pink helmet to match the bike, just in case. The tricycle is much as I remember the trikes of my youth, 50 years ago. Only the pedals are plastic, all of the structural components are metal, which means that this will last. Assembly was very simple and took only a few minutes, and the instructions were quite easy to follow. I looked at the plastic versions, but found them to be as or more expensive than this metal version. Since I've made a practice of buying gifts for her that reflect earlier eras, this was a perfect choice for her.
