Today a reader tomorrow a leader!

– Margaret Fuller

I learned early on with our older girls just how important it was to introduce books into everyday activities. I wanted to make it fun and something they always looked forward to doing.  I’m happy to say that both our older girls Chloe and Olivia now love reading. It has been especially sweet to see how much they love to read to their lil sister !

That’s why when  Bookroo reached out and wanted to send us a box to review I didn’t hesitate I jumped right on the opportunity!

What it is:

Bookroo is a subscription-based book service- They offer two different options

1. Board Book Box- A box filled with 3 board books

or

2. Junior Book Box- A box filled with 2 hardcover books

The thing that got me was how Bookroo prides itself on finding “hidden gems” as opposed to sending any old book you can find at all the book stores. Don’t get me wrong there is something special about going to a book store and diving into whatever catches your eye. Us busy moms know that isn’t always possible or isn’t something we want to do with lil ones. That is why I love this subscription box. It’s not only a time saver but listen to this, Bookroo goes the extra mile with each and every box they send out. Every book is wrapped inside.  It’s like unwrapping a present every month !

So my kids pretty much think I’m giving them a gift every month. That’s a Mom win in my books ( see what I did there hahahaha)

The products:

Since we are trying to build Everly’s library I received the board book box and was surprised to also get the Junior book box. Both of which came with incredible books some I had never seen or heard of prior and one of my childhood favorites!

Pelicans Bill- A super fun pull and peek book filled with bright and colorful illustrations.

Animal Patterns- I like that each page has a different animal pattern/texture.

My Friends- What a great story filled with such great meaning.

The Great Mouse Detective- This is a childhood favorite of mine.

A Dragons Guide to the Care and Feeding of Humans- The girls loved this one.

The cost:

Junior Book Box- $24.99 + $5 SH

Board Book Box-  $17.99 +5 SH 1 month; $16.66 + $5 SH for 3 months; $16.33 + $5 SH for 6 months; and $15.99 + $5 SH for 12 months.

What I absolutely love most about all the books we received was the positive messages in each of them.

Smile,

Kayla
