I’m so excited to finally have the space to do projects but even more excited to share them with all of you!

I love thrift store shopping so much that even when I’m out of town I must stop into the local thrift store to treasure hunt. I found this adorable table on a recent trip to at the beach for just $10.

It was calling my name and a coat of paint.

First things first though. When it comes to any DIY project it’s important to do things right the first time. But I’m honestly the most impatient person and a mom.  That means I do things as inexpensively and quickly as I can.

Throughout all my projects I will be shareing with you how I get things done. Que my first secret weapon 2 in 1 spray paint. It goes on evenly, dries fast and no need to wash out paint brushes.

Everything in our family room is a shade of grey so it was in desperate need of color. My DIY heart san when I found this teal color. I instantly knew this table needed to be teal!

Isnt it beautiful ?

The process was super simple. I started out by doing a light sanding to scuff up the surface. Wiped it all down with a damp rag to remove any dust. In a well ventalated area on a surface that is ok to spray paint on. I used a large box in the garage. I applied 2 coats of spray paint to the whole table and 3 on the top surfaces. Allowing for drying time inbetween each coat. The whole process only took 4 hours.
