Carnival Birthday Party

Welcome to Everly Carnival Birthday Party!!

We had so much fun celebrating Everly’s second birthday last weekend! Picking a party theme wasn’t an easy task. I wanted it to be fun and full of everything Everly loves. I started writing down everything she loves and it turns out this girl LOVE to eat!!! Popcorn, snow cones and fries…… Ding ding ding Carnival birthday party theme!  This was the first official birthday party at our house and everyone had such a blast!  Our house has never been so full of people, there was snow cone juice on the floors, crumbs and popcorn everywhere, but at the end of the day everyone including Everly had a blast!

Carnival Birthday Party

I decided to go with un traditional colors for the carnival birthday party. This meant I would need to DIY the heck out of everything!!!(no complaints here) To pull it off I knew I needed to make some sort of carnival tent. I grabbed plastic table cloths and all the crape paper and bam I present to you a carnival tents!! These tents were a little time consuming to do, but oh so worth it. The addition of the pink and white crape paper stipes was the perfect little detail. It ended up being exactly what the dining room needed to make the theme all come together.

I decorated the cake table with these super cute sucker bouquets. I used this bag of suckers and all other supplies from dollar tree. Glass jars with candy, chocolate covered pretzel sticks and frosted animal crackers was a great addition. I was so excited to make my very first batch of  royal iced sugar cookies. Even more excited when everyone asked where I bought them! The popcorn boxes were the cutest lil touch. I completed the table with this gold balloon number  was a great addition along with some balloons attached to these balloon sticks.

Homemade cake and cookies for carnival birthday party

Yes, of course I made the cake and cupcakes myself ……..out of a box.

I went with a simple sprinkle decoration. The cake toppers is the same one I used last year from Avalon Sunshine.  Little gold cake stand is similar to this one here. Everly was soo cute blowing out her candles on her own for the first time!

Carnival birthday part

Everly wore a June and January  green polka dot dress layered with a shirt that said “Yay It’s My Birthday”. I’m not a huge fan of party favors. Don’t you worry though all of our party guests got to enjoy popcorn. snow cones, sliders and fries. No one left unhappy I promise!

As always, if you have any questions, leave them in a comment below and I will get back to you!

Smile,

Kayla
