One of my favorite drinks to try where ever I go is sangria but I have to admit that some places are better then others. So I thought to myself why couldn’t I just  make my own sangria ? The idea sounded great and the timing was perfect since Grocery Outlet was heaving a 20% off wine sale.

Off to the store I went with all my favorite sangria’s in mind. I stepped inside Grocery Outlet and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to find everything I need for my version of the perfect Spring Time Sangria. Ok ok I confess I may have even picked up an adorable bird house and some cookies cause you never know what sort of treasures your local Grocery Outlet will have !

Sprint Time Sangria

Back to this yummy Spring Time Sangria Recipe

Spring Time Sangria

This sangria recipe is perfect for spring, summer and well honestly anytime in my opinion. It’s filled with luscious fruit, a mixture of crisp white wine and topped with cruzan peach rum!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 – bottles of  chilled white wine. I used Riesling and Pinto Grigio
  • 2 to 3 shots white rum. I like cruzan peach
  • 1 navel orange cut into slices
  • 1 granny smith apple cut into slices
  • 1-1/2 cups fresh pineapple chopped
  • 1-1/2 cups strawberries chopped
  • 1 kiwi peeled and sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all of the above ingredients to a large pitcher and serve chilled.

Notes: you can make this recipe up to 12 hours in advance. I would recommend not adding ice since it will dilute the yummy flavor. ( it wont last in the cup long enough anyways to need ice haha)

    Spring Time Sangria

The most important thing to remember about  sangria is there is no right or wrong way to make it. It’s all about combining the flavors you enjoy into a pitcher filled with love. Enjoy !
